Counseling & Empowerment Consulting Group (2001) is located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The main focus of this group is to provide counseling/psychotherapy and other related services to individuals, couples and families, to consult and provide expertise on various human services topics and to provide empowerment strategies and tools for personal development and overall enhancement.
Among the services provided are the following: Individual, Couples and Group Counseling, Parenting classes, Sandcastles and other programs for children of divorce, Private, pre and post-divorce consultation, Fatherhood training, Pre-marital counseling, Marital and family counseling, Special individual consultation, Crisis counseling, Anger and stress management, Anxiety & Depression evaluation and treatment, Counseling for grief and loss, and Hypnotherapy.
I offer brief, solution-focused sessions using a variety of evidenced based approaches.
I work with individuals, couples and families of diverse backgrounds, and my goal as an experienced counselor, is to help my clients develop and express their best selves, by empowering them and by providing them with the unique tools, skills or strategies that they may require to excel.
More About Dr. Percy Ricketts
Dr. Percy Ricketts is a Psychotherapist, National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Parenting and Divorce consultant and a Diplomate of the American Mental Health Counselors Association, who has been in private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida for over 15 years.
Dr. Ricketts is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, Nova Southeastern University and Argosy University, with a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology.
Dr. Ricketts enjoys counseling individuals, couples and families of diverse backgrounds, teaching, and supervising counseling interns. He is the author of several books on a wide variety of topics and the “Parenting for Separated & Divorcing Moms & Dads” curriculum.
Dr. Ricketts maintains active memberships in numerous local, national and international counseling-related and other organizations, and he is a board member of the Broward County Mental Health Counselors Association. He also founded the Men’s Mental Health Center, which is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization.
